Rewarding Greed and Stupidity
Comedy often exploits stereotypes to get a laugh. However, the class most skewered in this interview parody: bankers and other members of the “financial community,” richly deserve the attention. Watching the video all the way to the end provides some deep insight.
Although “markets” predominate in “Mr. Parr’s” discussion, his markets do not qualify as free. Free markets do not guarantee success, but “central bankers” tend to rescue other bankers.
Although this video isn’t directly featured in the latest Ender’s Review, one can find it linked from an included essay. It also relates to other themes which run through the issue.

I return the compliment on your piece today about the Liberty Dollar. Another closely related but not identical skit by the same two guys also hits the spot.

You might also like this piece. Alex’s version of the bank story hits close to the mark but supplies wry humor, if one can still find this topic amusing.

I like Autumn best for many reasons, e.g., the colors, temperatures and the harvest time. I don’t really like Winter very much at all. However, a year ago I had wanted to see how difficult it would be to switch theme images and colors with the season. It wasn’t hard, but I have been lax in working further to keep up with that idea.
Soon I will be spending more time on this blog doing more things with it. Next Spring I’ll probably change the motif to something else. Since Winter has arrived where I live, it seems less urgent to change the images now.

Hey forum!
It’s my first time I am here.
So i’d like to ask you if a world financial crisis affected someone among you?

A “world financial crisis” would seem by definition to affect the entire world, therefore, presumably, most posters here.
Were you seeking something more specific?
