Harvey Korman was one of the greats of comedy. In thinking back on many a pleasant evening watching <i>The Carol Burnett Show</i>, I realized that one reason I have such a hard time watching comedies today is that awful canned laugh track. <i>CB</i> was taped before a studio audience, and the laughter genuine—and with people like Carol, Harvey, and Tim Conway, how could there not be laughter? I saw this news item but somehow didn’t mention it. Harvey Korman was one of the greats of comedy.
