I rate The Prisoner as one of the best shows to ever grace television screens, especially considering the limitations of the era in which it aired.
Patrick McGoohan and his radical TV mystery/suspense series, gave a substantive critique of the modern world which still has tremendous power.

He turned out to be a good deal more than I understood, based on the encomia I’ve read in the past couple of days. Intellect like his doesn’t often make it to Hollywood, much less survive there.
I think I’ll watch an episode tonight …
