A friend in need
The last person Sunni interviewed for Sunni’s Salon at Endervidualism was Mike Gogulski. Although Mike and I have never met in the flesh, I regard him as a good friend. I greatly admire his courage and principles.
I have believed avoiding cops to be a good policy for many years. Mike’s story brings home that such [...]

The Government Can
Who can take your money,
with a twinkle in their eye;
take it all away

The government. The government can.

Remembering May 4th, 1970
I remember the Kent State killings very well. I was just the right age for the military draft but had gotten lucky with a 1Y classification (at least until they eliminated that, and then I lucked out with a high lottery number). Of the people my age which I knew well enough to talk with [...]

I guess it could be worse
People in America who oppose big government may often feel as though they might want to “get out.” However, where can one go? Not Australia.

Five years have passed . . .

Vote fraud story gaining steam
I try to analyze political events from a cui bono (who benefits) angle, among others. Who benefits here? Well, neither Ron Paul nor Barack Obama seem to gain much. However, the duopoly does quite well as a result.

How about merely the guitar solo ?
Yesterday, during my perusal of my reader feeds, I came upon a plethora of amateur videos from the Led Zeppelin concert at the O2 in England. I found one of “Stairway to Heaven” and posted it here. YouTube may have pulled that video (as Sunni says in her comment here). I don’t blame YouTube. I [...]
