With the stairs and hallway done and the other projects waiting for us to prepare, the "pain" has subsided. But it'll be back

I have several in various states of completion. However, I have not had the right frame of mind for that sort of project.

Oh boy, does that resonate! The tide is turning, however, so there's hope.

Also, I hope you're feeling better now, if not completely recovered. Happy holidays to you and yours!

Nice style and I like the way you discuss the tracks. I’m going to book mark it.

I released the first comment above by Sunni from things Akismet caught and marked as "Spam." That was the first false positive I've seen from Akismet. Commenters should be able to use links as she did without problems. On that same topic, the first item of what I considered actual spam got through Akismet today too. Not Akismet's best day.

It's taken from a field of snow, probably with some animal tracks in it -- likely a rabbit -- and maybe some blown leaf marks, then GIMPed about some with a few color tools (increased the blue/cyan somewhat) and made seamless for background use.

Julie said it reminded her a bit of sheet music. I guess using some imagination I can see that.

I like the snowy oaks. They aren't the ones from our back yard, but look much like both those and the ones that I used in the autumn layout.

Nice mix of blues ... but what is the background? Looks kinda odd to me—not unpleasant, just odd.

The vid worked for me Friday morning after not working the other day? Maybe the system was overloaded.

Every so often I pull out that song and hear it again for the first time. It's been overplayed so much because it really is that great.
